ANTIQUE KURDISH KHURJIN

Very bold Kurdish Khurjin, very similar in design to Luri weavings. Great colours, very substantial weaving. Goat hair warps and wefts, edges and closure straps. Interestingly the face with the lighter colours has differnt weft wool. Beautiful stripe design back. Wear to pile and the corners, this was deffinately used as a saddlebag and not simply displayed. 21"x41"
